Linear Bushing

Linear Bushing

Linear bushing is a linear guide used in combination with a LM shaft that has a cylindrical shaft. This product makes linear movements with a minimum of frictional resistance to provide highly accurate and supple movement.

Linear Bushing

What is the linear bushing used for?

Linear bushing are used in machine-tool ways, in sliding doors, 3D printers, and in a variety of automation settings where reducing friction and guiding linear motion is needed.

What is the primary function of linear bushings?

linear bushings are also used for constructing sliding devices such as linear tables. The purpose of linear bushings in this case is constantly friction-free guiding of a straight-line motion of an element of a machine, which actually represents the key difference between linear bushings and ball bearings.

How is the charactertic of LIMON linear ball bushing?

  • Wide product range
  • Diameter 4mm~100mm
  • Unique automatic workshop.
  • Different design.
  • Nickel coating available
  • Steel cage available

What are the type of linear bushings?

LIMON linear bushing have the advantages of wide product range, LMK/LMF/LMH different type of linear bushing meet customer diversified demand.

And with unique automatic workshop, different design and nickel coating & steel cage available.

How linear bushings differ from rotational bearings?

Ball bearings have spherical rolling elements and are used for lower load applications, while roller bearings use cylindrical rolling elements for heavier load carrying requirements. linear bushings are used for linear movements along shafts and may also have rotational capabilities.

How to choose linear bushings?

They are used with hardened and ground axles. The balls have a very small point contact area that allows very low rolling friction. However, having a small contact area means that they exert a large force on the axle. Therefore, it is essential that they are only used on hardened axles.

These bearings can be open or closed:

Open linear bushings: These have a small opening and are used in applications where several axles supports, or a complete axle support is needed to prevent the axle from bending.

Closed linear bushings: These refer to those bearings that are totally closed.

Applying these types of linear bushings in projects provides various advantages, such as:

Reduction of friction and noise.

Its closed design also makes an unlimited range possible.

High load capacities and long lifespan.

Simple structure and high reliability.

High performance and replacement capacity.

Easy lubrication (both oil and grease can be applied)

Five reasons to choose linear bushings in linear motion applications.

  1. Simple design--Linear bushing moves through the ball inside the ratainer.
  2. Smooth motion --The outer cylinder of bushing bearing contains a ball retainer that is perfectly designed to control the circulation of ball elements, resulting in smooth linear motion.
  3. Compact Mechanism--Saving space.
  4. Low friction--The raceway surface is ground precision
  5. Widely type and easy for installation--Different flange type LMK/LMH/LMF can meet different customer demands,And easy for installation.

LIMON start to export linear bushing from 2003. Due to our reliable quality and service, we soon become a leading manufacturer of linear bushing in China , and we built a good image and reputation in the oversea market. We have more 15 year experience for linear bushing parts. In the begining we help our JAPANESE customer do OEM. After so many year experence, now we are the leading manufactuer of linear bushing in China and also we are the only automatic manufacturer to produce linear bearing in China. It is our superiority that the product stability can be controlled. And that’s how we do quite well in Europen and Asia market. Feel free to contact us, if there is any question.
