all screws play a pivotal role in modern automation, offering precise linear motion, high-speed control, and robust load-bearing capabilities. Here’s how технология шариковинтовой передачи powers the next generation of automation systems.
1. Precise Linear Motion Control
Application: Convert the rotational motion of stepper motors or servo motors into highly accurate linear motion, often achieving micron-level positioning.
Use Cases:
- Industrial Robot Joints: For instance, the six-axis FANUC robot utilizes ball screws to control the repeated positioning accuracy of its end effector within ±0.01mm.
- 3D Printer Nozzle Motion: DJI’s industrial 3D printers use шарико-винтовые линейные приводы in the XY-plane to ensure precise nozzle trajectory and layer fidelity.
2. High-Speed Reciprocating Motion
Application: Ensure synchronization and motion stability in high-speed automation setups.
Use Cases:
- Mounter Machines: ASM Pacific’s pick-and-place mounters rely on ball screws to drive the head at speeds up to 5m/s for precision component placement.
- Food Packaging Lines: Yasui’s automatic food packaging machines use ball screw drives to keep sorting and sealing processes fast and synchronized.
3. Heavy Load & High Rigidity Demands
Application: Provide mechanical stability and load capacity in high-force environments.
Use Cases:
- Automotive Welding Arms: KUKA robots equipped with ball screws and rigid linear guides maintain precision under several tons of welding pressure.
- Injection Molding Machines: Haitian’s machines utilize high-thrust ball screw systems (up to 50kN) to open and close molds with repeatable accuracy.
4. Multi-Axis Linkage Control
Application: Coordinate several ball screw axes to enable complex, synchronized motion.
Use Cases:
- Laser Cutting Systems: Trumpf’s 2D laser cutting machines use X/Y/Z three-axis ball screw setups to move the cutting head with high speed and zero vibration.
- Collaborative Robots: UBTech’s Walker robot combines ball screws with harmonic reducers for quadruped joints, enabling advanced obstacle avoidance.
